Rib offshore services

Many of todays  Windfarms have requirements for surface diving intervention .

  These interventions are typically:

l  Welding  Inspection

l  Marine growth removal

l  Umbilical and cable inspection

l  Maintenance  works

l  Replacement works

l  Cofferdam installation (to enable internal works to be conducted)

è In addition, some new works can be required such as:

l  Umbilical installation

l  Pile inspection

Larger DSVs can prove difficult to access some of these areas (particularly cable installations) and are also very costly.

The solution for the works above is a diving Rib for close approach to the worksite to reduce the risk for divers and create more diving time in tidal waters.

The RIB‘s Advantage

   Cost effective over DSV intervention

   Fast response in emergency situations

   No DSV umbilical access restrictions

No safety issues with large DSV in close proximity to installation

Self Contained, when away from Mother Vessel

Multiple campaigns can be scheduled together and optimise utilisation
